Flex Fight Series 45 Update: New Main Event Announced as Tom Picciano Now Faces Abdelghani Saber

Selden, NY – April 7, 2025 — The originally scheduled main event for Flex Fight Series 45, a professional featherweight bout between Tom Picciano and Kobe Bowen, has unfortunately been canceled due to unforeseen visa issues affecting Bowen. While the bout will no longer headline the April 26th card, fans can expect to see Bowen back in the Flex cage within the coming months.

In his place, Flex Fight Series is proud to announce a new main event featuring Tom Picciano (5-3) against Abdelghani Saber (8-2)—a thrilling featherweight clash now set to top the card live from the Selden Volunteer Fire Department Training Center in Selden, NY.

Picciano, one of the most electric featherweights in the region, embraced the late change with his usual no-nonsense attitude. “I’ll fight anyone who can make 145 lbs by April 26th,” he said—a statement that perfectly reflects his grit, confidence, and fan-first mentality.

Across from him will be Abdelghani Saber, a lethal striker from Egypt now fighting out of California. With an 8-2 professional record and a reputation for finishing fights, Saber steps in on short notice looking to seize a huge opportunity and introduce himself to East Coast fans in a major way.

This main event matchup is everything Flex Fight Series stands for: hungry fighters, real stakes, and an unpredictable edge that guarantees action. Both Picciano and Saber are coming to put on a show—and neither plans to leave it in the judges’ hands.

Flex Fight Series 45, proudly presented by title sponsor Planet Nugg, will be streamed live around the world on Fubo Sports and FITE TV. For behind-the-scenes access, fight week coverage, and breaking updates, follow us on Instagram at @FlexFightSeries.
